The weekend bag

Packing for Casino Moose Jaw

A weekend bag in Moose Jaw holds far more than an evening at Casino Moose Jaw calls for. The house rules decide what comes along and what stays behind in the room.

What comes along

Begin with government ID. Guests at Casino Moose Jaw must be 19 or older, which is Saskatchewan's legal gambling age, and ID is compulsory. A request for it can come at any point during the visit, so carry it with you all evening.

Members of the Players Club can bring their card, which works at the casino and at Casino Regina. Without a card, you can become a member at Guest Services by showing photo ID, and membership costs nothing. To carry all this, pick a small bag over a backpack. Backpacks are not allowed inside.

What stays in the room

Backpacks and duffle bags are not allowed into Casino Moose Jaw, so they stay in the room. Outside alcohol stays behind too, including a bottle from the hotel room or the car. The casino is licensed, and any drink bought there is finished there.

Cannabis may not be smoked or vaped anywhere on the premises, including the designated outdoor smoking area. Pipes, cigars and chewing tobacco are banned everywhere as well. Approved service animals and guide dogs are welcome. Other animals and pets are not allowed in.

Clothes, phones and cameras

Guests at Casino Moose Jaw are asked to dress appropriately. Clothing that displays violence, or that connects the wearer with a criminal or violent group, is not permitted. During play, phones and other devices stay unused at table games and in Touch Bet pits. Before taking a call or reading a message, step away from the table.

Photos are fine everywhere except three places: the Cashier's Desks, live table games and the surveillance cameras. Another person may be photographed or recorded only with their consent, and commercial photography requires approval from management. Video and audio surveillance covers the premises. Smoking and e-cigarettes belong in the designated outdoor smoking areas, off the gaming floor.
